"The facility was very nice with large rooms and comfortable appointments. I felt that the front desk was understaffed, and the off site parking was time consuming for them. The restaurant staff were very pleasant and the food was good. My room was not cleaned even after I requested housekeeping at 5pm."

"No hand soap, kettle or teabags provided. Door not closing onto balcony without banging it. Balcony looking on to noisy building works which wasn’t worth the extra money paid, as the balcony was unusable. No mugs, sugar or milk provided. No robes or slippers. Room was ok but overall disappointing for a 4 star. No USB points. Great bathroom and comfortable bed. Good air conditioning."

"This is a marvelous hotel. The location is terrific, the architecture and design create a space both open and cozy, the rooms are well-appointed, clean and well-maintained. The restaurant is magnificent - we had eight dishes over two days, each of them excellent. "You’re not able to get ice. Unless you want to blocks to a different hotel. They won’t bring it to you. Air conditioning was turned off. You had to sleep with the Windows open. It was extremely hot in the room. We had requested wake up and a taxi. And when we went downstairs, they said no taxes for today. It’s too early in the morning but we had to leave in the 630 bus. So we ended up having to walk 5 to 6 bucks with luggage at 5:15 in the morning. It was really terrible. Don’t book off-season...
