"We had a wonderful experience at The Mortimer’s Arms. If you are visiting Paultons Park/Peppa Pig World, the location is unbeatable (within walking distance). The hotel is exceptionally dog-friendly. They provided a water bowl, treats, and a toy for our dog, which was such a lovely gesture. "The room was clean and tidy with 2 x single beds, ensuite bathroom with shower. Tea/coffee, although more sugar would have been appreciated. I was late checking in, 11pm, yet the host was there to greet me on arrival. I was also early to leave in the morning so no time for breakfast served from 8am-9am. My only gripe really was the view from my window looking out into the back garden. A tidyup wouldn't go amiss but that's me being picky. Because of my flying visit, I wasn't able to to see any...

"Stairs to the rooms were quite steep but the room was great. Comfortable bed and lovely to have fresh milk and homemade cookies. Unfortunately the shower could do with some attention as water was really slow to run away.Good selection at breakfast, staff were friendly and very accommodating. Could do with either cleaning or replacing the carpet on stairs and landing as it’s very stained and does them no favours in terms of appearance. Overall great stay and would recommend."
