"I’ve stayed at Hotel La Tour twice now. The good: Clean, modern, hotel feels premium. The Bad: Staff are rude, unhelpful, amenities in room are limited and not the best e.g shampoo/ Shower gel both labelled as shower gel, kettle had visible limescale. But easily the worst thing is the staff and their attitude. I appreciate they’re probably busy, but it just felt like a chore to try and talk to them. "From a value perspective, this location was excellent. Breakfast was provided, rooms were comfortable and there was a Harvester restaurant across the parking lot which worked out well when we arrived back after a long and exhausting day. The location is perfect if you are visiting Oxford, Cambridge, Bletchley Park and surroundings. Staff were wonderful!"

"I had a single room which was well laid out with an excellent on-suite. The bar was well stocked with very good hot bar snacks. My only negative was that they did not have draft beer. There is a large screen tv. The staff were attentive and very professional. I will stay here again if I'm in Bedford. I"

"Parking is a 2-3 minute walk to reception. EV charging points available. Bar OK Rest of the hotel needs some tlc, outside seating area not weeded, rooms need decor. Self service breakfast, food choices, but low quantity food. Bread in the bar snacks also very low quality, which is a real shame and you are paying hotel prices. Would have expected much better quality…"

"It was ok the carpets are old and dirty. They wouldnt let us perform late checkout unfortunately so loses credits for that, then the staff were too bust to serve coffee in the morning..."

"Pros: Booking easy, rooms spacious, staff very helpful, room super clean, discounted parking was great. Cons: breakfast very substandard, tub drain was blocked up with a huge human hairball so wouldn’t drain, steak was badly overcooked at dinner."
