"Absolutely lovely hotel, and weve stayed at most of them during my daughter’s days at UCSB. Very Santa Barbara-feeling as far as decor 🚙🌴 the rooms aren’t huge, but perfect for two people and a dog. All rooms have hardwood flooring. Dogs are free, which is a huge perk but the rooms do not look like dog rooms and smell really good. "We stayed over spring break and expected a luxury experience given the price and brand, but the stay was inconsistent. The room had multiple maintenance issues: discolored tile near the toilet, worn mirror trim, a toilet handle that did not flush properly, and a lamp that did not work. The seating area near the door was also cramped and poorly arranged. Housekeeping was unreliable. One day the room was not serviced until mid-afternoon, requiring us to wait. For breakfast, we arrived a little early, but the waiter and kitchen staff accommodated us as we needed to head up the coast to the Monterey area. "A lovely new and clean space. It had all the amenities you would need plus more. Full kitchen with just enough dishes for a small family. There are 6 units connected in an apartment style building so expect some noise from your neighbors, it's not 100% sound proof. Parking is tight, space for 1 medium size vehicle. Leave the truck at home, it will not fit. Overall an excellent stay that is a few short blocks from the sand."
