"Comfort of the bed was reason we gave 3 stars. Even the slightest movement from either of us during the night, the bed would shake. It was like we were sleeping on Jello. Both of us were awake all night. Bad nights sleep. Isn’t that why you need a hotel……to sleep?? The happy hour drinks and appetizers is a zoo, likewise breakfast in the morning. They ran out of many things in the first 10 minutes. This hotel is barely a year old, so beds are fairly new! Will not book anything at this hotel...

"My room was 430 and the AC unit was just way too loud on the high setting and on the low setting it wouldn’t even go below 75°. It just stayed hot in my room also on the high setting it wouldn’t go below 70."

"First of all the staff at this location are top notch! Everyone from the front desk to the maintenance to the breakfast staff. Bravo! The rooms are cozy, cool and relaxing. The amenities are well maintained and there are plenty of them if you want to use the. The sitting areas are comfortable and well maintained. The breakfast is very good and the staff is on it to keep it clean and things refilled. Overall for an older building this is an excellent choice when in Charleston. Its well located...

"The hotel was very nice and there was enough parking as well. Only down side was the elevator was down our entire stay. Had I known this before check in I probably would have found a different hotel. But other than that everything was nice. "

"I wasn’t aware I would need to pay additionally for parking until I arrived( maybe should have done more research on my part), assumed it would be free since it is on property. Otherwise, hotel was clean, right before m was very comfortable, and breakfast was very good."
