"Great spot in the downtown of Bergen without it feeling too loud! Great walking distance to everything we wanted. The hotel its self was clean, easy to find, and friendly staff. Parking is at lot a few blocks down the street."

"Superb location, in Bryggen: exactly where you want to be in Bergen. The historic town is right around you and you can walk to the piers and the fish market. The airport shuttle starts from right outside the hotel, so that is an added convenience. Breakfast, afternoon tea, and dinner were included, which is unusual. Breakfast was a generous spread. Dinner was simple but adequate. The bar in the lobby is open until late. (Note: no food available after 8:00 pm.) We expect to be back in Bergen...

"We booked a superior double room. It was not worth the money. The furniture was worn and looked well used and in a style that did not suit the room or the hotel. The minibar did not work. All drinks were boiling hot. The bathroom did not smell particularly good. The staff is very service-minded, friendly and nice. The hotel is located in a nice area. We had a view of the pier, which was very nice."
