"Great, basic place to stay. I have only ever stayed one night. The gardens are lovely and I particularly like that you can walk to the Plough through the fields (and back via road if dark). Also Blue Diamond garden centre 5 min walk away too. Cambridge park and ride 5 mins in other direction. No breakfast available at Hotel any more. Check in at 4.00pm perhaps the only negative."

"On arrival at 2:45 for 3pm check in we were told by the girl it was £15 for an early check in, at £1 a minute we said no thank you we will sit in the car. We said there was coffee pods in the room but no Coffee machine, she said oh I don’t know, so that was the end of that. Next morning with another guest we were trying to get into the pub area, only to find both doors were locked. The same girl as yesterday eventually opened up and said you should use other door, when we said we did she said...

"We stayed for one night in an annex. Room was comfortable and clean with a few minor niggles e.g. the lock on the bathroom. Breakfast was a good choice of cold and hot options. Worth booking in advance for a discount. Location was good, easy walk into Mildenhall where there are plenty of cafes and restaurants. We would stay again if in the area."

There are numerous public transport facilities with it being located right next to a train station with convenient connections to london and the north. The hotel is situated in a quiet modernised area and the parking is safe and in plentiful availability. "We have used this hotel on a number of visits to Cambridge. The on-site parking and convenient location are the main attractions. Parking this time was more expensive than I expected (£18). Minor maintenance issues in the room. Don't be late for breakfast - they clear the buffet at 9:30 sharp."

"Amenities: Broken but addressed by maintenance the following morning: toilet seat, refrigerator. Room annoyances: Fire alarm at 6:50 AM and 11:52AM, air conditioning not working. Staff: On Monday around 7pm, staff told me repeatedly I would be able to extend. To be safe, I made a booking at the sister property (in the same building).
