Kahler Grand Hotel

"The rooms were really dated and dark. Felt like it wasn’t taken care of as well as other hotels in its price range."

Med City Inn & Suites - Mayo Clinic Area

"Desk clerk did not greet us and was indifferent with our disappointment that the room we reserved months in advance was occupied. No information was given about breakfast, hot tub being out of order or location of the elevators. Just a shrug and " down that way". Toilet was installed on an angle from the wall, paper holder was installed crooked , mold on floor tiles and safety grip was installed on the wrong side of the shower that would only help you step out of the shower and onto the toilet. This was a return trip but will NOT be returning."

Travelodge by Wyndham Red Wing
10/10 Excellent
"Our entire stay was excellent. Starting with the staff upon arrival. They were very friendly and helpful. It's not a five star by any means. The room was clean, the towels were fresh, the bed was comfortable. The outside was well lit up, clean, and plenty of parking. All in all it was a nice stay for what we paid. We would stay there again if we ever are in that area again. Thanks to all that took care of us."

Centerstone Plaza Hotel Soldiers Field - Mayo Clinic Area
8/10 Good
"The restaurant I’d first rate. The provided transportation to and from Mayo and surrounding area was first rate. The colonial breakfast was good. The staff support was first rate. The price was a good value. The condition of the hotel was just ok."

GrandStay Hotel and Conference
8/10 Good
"Room was clean, comfortable, and very large with the kitchenette and living/dining areas, but things were a bit worn. I checked in on a Thursday and out on Monday and was out of the room most of the day, but housekeeping did not appear to come at all. I was a solo traveler, so didn't make that much trash and had plenty of towels, so I did not ask anyone about it. Free breakfast was standard hotel fare, but convenient. Hotel wifi was inconsistent in the room. Water pressure in shower was excellent, but not super hot. I felt very safe and the location was convenient to the friends I was visiting nearby!"

"The gal at the front desk was very rude. We checked in. I asked her about some credits I had if they were applied. She said I have no idea talk to the manager in the morning. She never mentioned what time breakfast was or where the elevator was. It was me and my 84 year old mom. We went to the pool Thursday night. No towels in the pool area. So we went to the front desk to get towels. She was annoyed and said I have a mountain of laundry to do. We went down for breakfast at 9:30 on Friday it was already closed. Friday my brother and sister arrived in a tight schedule to make it to a wedding. No one was at the front desk. Friday night my mom came back to the hotel with my sister and brother who also had rooms there. They paid $282 per night. Yikes. My mom left her swimsuit in my room and she asked to get in my room and she would not let her. I understand privacy rules but sge was with me when I checked in so she knew she was with me. So when I got back at 10 pm I went to the pool and my key did not work. So I went to my room the key did not work. When I was trying to get into the room I pushed on the door and realized my door was open all day why we were gone. My brothers room was at 79 degrees all night. They adjusted it several times. They about melted at 79 in the room all night. Our tv Channel would not turn. For the amount of money we paid we expected better."
