"From the minute we got there it was absolutely amazing. Clean facility, excellent staff, very helpful, always checking everthing was okay. The lady couldnt do enough for us, she also left us a gift which was lovely and unexpected. The room was massive with plenty of room for a family"

"Great hostel, good Central location. 5 minutes walk into the city centre, 2 minutes walk from the nearest bars and restaurants. Clean room, comfortable bed and good communication from the host throughout our stay. If I'm nit picking the only very slight drawback was, the bedroom curtains, weren't full blackout (I'm a very light sleeper) but this was a very small thing, and it probably won't affect most people. I would have no hesitation in staying there again. Recommended. "

"Nice property at the heart of the town very close to most of the things. The room was very clean and had most of the amenities as stated. The owner was very responsive and friendly. Would recommend for family vacations and visits to Faro. It’s also close to the railway station which was very nice."

"Staff were lovely and attentive, bathrooms were clean, common room is a bit spartan... but the real issue is the beds; they're a bit of a mess. Wooden frames that creak, wobble like crazy, and wake everyone in the room over even slight movements. No AC, and the fans used to substitute sadly don't reach up to the top bunks so you're just profusely sweating while you desperately try not to move. Overall I'd say only stay if you really need a cheap bed. Think of it like an amusement ride!"

"Lift to go up to the room could not be entered the due to it being stored with dirty laundry and black bags stacked and packed high full to the roof of the lift. I alerted the receptionist and she pressed a button in the lift but it remained opened whilst I waited. When I finally got to the room I can only describe it as being totally rundown, with a disgusting stench and 2 flies flying around the room. I opened the balcony door to get the flies and the stench out. One fly was flying around in...
