"Bien que notre première impression fut plutôt negative, au vu du peu d 'amabilité du patron à l'accueil, ainsi que d' une employée qui était là et ne nous a même pas dit bonjour, nous sommes passés outre et avons passé un bon sejour d une nuit.La patronne, qui parle anglais, a été très sympathique et comme nous avions pris la demie pension , nous avons très bien mangé au restaurant le soir et au petit-déjeuner avec une magnifique vue sur le paysage environnant. "I will start with the service at the front desk. Wow! this is what hospitality should look like at every hotel. The front desk manager helped solving some problems upon arrival, since we were traveling by bike on the Camino de Santiago. He made sure that the bikes could charge overnight and they even moved them to the storage area themselves, while we were changing clothes in our room. Provided water for our flasks the next day. "The good points about the hotel were the breakfast, the staff, who were helpful and the rooms which were for the most part well maintained. We had several very positive interactions with the front desk and on the whole they met our needs. The location is pretty good and there is access to a sandy beach at low tide. "Beautiful historic property centrally located. Squeaky floorboards added to the vibe. Receptionist was very helpful. Breakfast buffet was good and there was a beer tap room next door. Pool looked lovely though the cool wind stopped us from taking a dip."
