"Our room was directly at the fire door and stairs. All night the door slammed and the noise on the stairs was unbearable. We had previously asked for a room on the 1sf or 2nd floor but was told no. I would never recommend this hotel. It’s more of a two star not a three"

One of our ground floor rooms was next to the car park which was a little disconcerting, but not noisy, so that was a relief. "Expedia booking said breakfast included , hotel staff said it was not. Expedia booking said booked at Garrison Hotel, but we were actually booked at Garrison Apartments which is 0.2 mile away. We still had to check in at the Hotel location then drive 0.2 mile away to apartment . All the parking at apartment was full , so unload luggage and then drive around Fort William looking for parking. Found parking 1 mile away and then walked back ."

Upon arrival you see a scruffy mobile home on concrete blocks and on the other side of the hotel it looks like a self build shed in a very bad state of disrepair. "Easy to find, really quiet, peaceful location, isolated, so own transport is definitely required.Only member of staff that I spoke to was really helpful and friendly. Lodge was really clean and tidy.would definitely recommend it.also had a great view of Ben Nevis."
