"Nice place. I recommend staying here. On one of the busiest street in Sante Fe, but in a good way. The rooms are set back from the busy road–some farther than others–but I did not hear traffic either night. It's convenient to stores and restaurants and downtown/old town. There is breakfast buffet that costs more, and they will charge you an extra 15 on your bill for it, so you might as well eat there if you can."

We left after one hour due to what appeared to be blood stains on one of the lampshades, and just general uncleanliness. There was a pile of someones dirty clothes sitting in the hallway. There are many lodging options in Santa Fe - Pay the extra money and avoid this place. I have yet to see one positive review of this hotel that wasn't "Anonymous.""

"The check in was very poor. The staff member was on the phone with her ear buds on an obviously personal call through the whole check in process. She also thought my Maryland driver's license was from out of the country . I had several interactions with her and she was always on the phone. The other staff were more professional. The breakfast was subpar. "

"My recent stay at the Hampton Inn was one of the most frustrating and disappointing hotel experiences I’ve ever had. The first room we were given a suite we had originally reserved was in unacceptable condition. There was poop on the toilet, the carpet was dirty, and it was obvious the room had not been cleaned properly. "This hotel is undergoing renovations, so this review is how conditions were on my one night stay. On check in, hotel staff told me I was currently booked on second floor rooms but that elevator was not working due to renovations. He offered to move us to first floor if we wanted. I was traveling with my daughter and her two young children, plus my son and his dog. He was very helpful and pleasant and made the switch which made it much easier for us and our multiple to cars to carry...
