"The room smelt terrible like smoke and dirty rug the had air freshners plugged in so it was an aweful mixed smell. Was not clean like the pictures looked.. i loved how deep the poool was but it was dirty so i didnt swim.. sheets didnt even look washed they looked laid in and had some spots one pillow didnt smell the best i was very disappointed but i t was not refundable for me so i stayed. "

"Everything was fine except for the urine stains around the bathroom toilet and dirty feet marks in the tub and the mattress has a dent in it and that was uncomfortable to sleep on. Other than that I had no problem with the room"

"The staff has been wonderful, there’s an indoor pool and laundry facilities. I was only checking in for 3 days, but I’ve been here almost 2 weeks. Staff has been very accommodating and fair with pricing. They have a hot breakfast every morning. There are 3 hotels in the immediate area. This hotel is by far the only 1 to choose. I believe the staff are all family and they treat the property as such. Great place to stay, safe-clean and friendly. Highly recommended!!"

"Gym should be great if machines are working, 3/5 cardio machines are broken. Weight room and cardio room are in separate sides, almost didn’t see the weight room. Water dispenser filter needs to be changed. Facility is clean. Staff are friendly and attentive."

"Room had dead bugs and insects all behind the beds. The furniture was all tarnished. The outside is just not pleasing, paint is chipping and all kinds of bugs are flying and crawling around. There's no vending machine, had no drinks or snacks. Crystal did the best she could with what she was dealt with.l"

"I really wanted to love my stay here but I was disappointed. First I arrived from a long drive to the computer system being down. So the line was backed up to check in. They did give me a $50 voucher so that was nice. I paid for a king room at the Reserve which ended up being in the building across the street from the main entrance. Check-in gave me a map telling me the specific numbered points to go to get to my room. But when I drove back there to park and walked to that specific location, the numbered points on the site map were different than the ones on the paper map she gave me. So it was very confusing. I had to get help from an elevator service guy. The rooms are in a U-Shape and mine was on the polar opposite end of the building that happened to be right next to an outdoor speaker to the rooftop terrace that I had the pleasure of hearing all night until it turned off at 11 PM. Fun for entertaining guests outside, but not for those trying to sleep. I tried making reservations to the spa and Ember steakhouse. Entirely booked. So make sure to reserve in advance. I was forced to order room service which cost me $150 for steak, potatoes and water. And to top it off, the bathroom sink was fully clogged. For $500 a night, do better Meritage. "
