Wonderful place to stay and take in all the views. Great balcony room to enjoy the city of Rome's busy streets, sights, people watch everything. The hotel inside has many little places to wonder around and get lost in old Italian painted ceilings, courtyard, a beautiful chapel on the 3 floor. The staff is great especially Pereira, went above and beyond to help make our trip even better.

Great location, near main station and on bus routes. Lovely shared spaces but room a bit tired and no proper shower. Bath with a hand held showerhead. Functional. Breakfast was good coffee and sweet treats.

It is located only 10 minutes from termini train station,which is great for getting to and from the airport. 20 minutes walk to major attractions. Hotel was fine, a little old decor. Breakfast was really limited, could benefit with more choice.

The hotel sounded like it would be "faded glory" and it was. The room was comfortable, staff were efficient and breakfast good, bearing in mind you don't usually get hot items in Italy.

That the hotel was close to so many eating places, and shops, and transportation. As an American traveler, I did miss a facecloth/wash cloth. I don't like just using my hands, soap, and water.

It is an antique hotel but they are doing the best they can to serve guests. A very nice place with a little garden in the middle of the first floor (the ground floor is floor 0). The place is clean but they can only do so much to make it look presentable. Staffs are nice and doing their best to help. They do speak English.

The hotel is in a nice location with a nice garden. There was no electricity in the first few hours after we checked in. Breakfast was poor quality. Service was good, and they're nice. Hotel rooms are dated but cleaniliness is not bad. Small room but it didnt bother us. Overall, not a bad hotel. Hot water running the washroom and AC was working great.

The hotel is in the heart of the city, which I really liked. We stayed for three days and our air conditioner did not work well. They said they fixed it and put a fan in our room, but it did not help much. Each time we asked the front desk for help, they seemed put out to answer the questions. The breakfast was slow and did not have a lot of variety.

Nice staff in a beautiful building in decay

The hotel is in a big, old building which you can imagine was very beautiful once. But the hotel is not in a good shape anymore, which is a shame. The breakfast is one of the worst i've ever tried. The bread was hard as a rock, very bad coffee and in generel there were very few options. Our first room had stains on the walls, a wierd big metal thing sticking out of the carpets and the bed was made of two single beds pushed together, where one was very hard and one soft. We got changed to another room, that smelled sour and was dirty in the corners. The housekeeping removed the hotel shampoo, and replaced it with shower gel. The neighbourhood is very nice and cozy and the staff was nice and helpfull. But all in all, not at all (!!) worth the price

The reception was unwelcoming, the concierge being blunt to the point of rudness. Breakfast very basic and sometimes of questionable freshness. The first room had many faults but we were moved on request. The second room was better.

The rooms are gross, stains on the sheets/comforters. The bathroom had mold, our toilet wouldn’t flush. The staff did give us a new room after 24 hours of no toilet, but the new room was just as bad, with a working toilet this time. A miserable stay.
