I like that it was close to the Colosseum. The price is excellent for being close to the main touristic destination of Rome.

Location was perfect. We loved walking around the sites of Rome. Cafe’s close by for food and drinks and breakfast was amazing

We enjoyed our stay. Great location. Walking distance from the colosseum. Breakfast place was great. Staff was great. Bed was super firm and thought it would be a rough night but actually slept pretty good. No wash rags. Not sure if that's an italy thing or a mistake. I would definitely stay here again!

The front desk ladies were very helpful. The free breakfast down the street in front of a fountain was beautiful. And the staff at that restaurant was wonderful. The location of this bed & breakfast was wonderful. We just had an issue needing our safe in the room repaired.

Brilliant location, close to many attractions. Staff were all wonderful, friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great and staff at the bar were very accommodating. We would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful location and wonderful staff. Be mindful of a very small elevator so if you have a lot of bags, it might take more than one trip.

The room was clean and just like the listing photos. Checking in was a breeze. We would defiantly stay here again. One block over we had cappuccinos and enjoyed the view of the Colosseum at 7am (We had early tours). It was about a 20 minute walk distance from the train station and a 45 minute walk from the Vatican.

Great location walking distance from many attractions. Staff were very helpful and the breakfast was lovely in a separate cafe belonging to accommodation. Our room was good but had a outside space that was locked as in need of upgrade this was a little disappointing but overall we enjoyed our stay and love Rome ❤️🇮🇹

We really enjoyed our stay here. The neighborhood was fun and had lots of options for food throughout the day. Breakfast was included in our stay and was served at a cafe just a short walk away. We also has access to the rooftop terrace and found time to sit and enjoy a few moments there. The location allowed us to walk to several of the landmarks we wanted to see, including the Colosseum and Trevi Fountain. All of the staff we interacted with were very helpful and professional. Il Covo was definitely a good value.

Il Covo is perfectly located near the Colosseum, Trevi Fountain, Pantheon as well as restaurants. The staff were very helpful with all our travel needs.

For the most part, the stay was fine. Not terrible but definitely some areas that could be improved. For starters, the elevator broke several times during our stay, this wasn’t a major issue but for someone who may need the elevator to get up, it could be a problem. The WiFi was absolutely terrible, it was difficult to plan out the day and look for spots to eat while inside. The location was excellent, right in the heart of the Monti neighborhood. Lots of non-touristy places to eat and drink and in walking distance to a lot of the sites. The room was fine, no frills, so if all you are looking for is a place to lay your head at night, this is it.

Il Covo is a sweet bed and breakfast in the heart of Rome. Our room was large and the bed was very comfortable. It overlooked a cute courtyard. It had air conditioning but it was not as cool as some other places we stayed. Everything was very clean except for the shower. It had some mold issues on the grout. The breakfast is offered at a restaurant just down the street and everything we had there was delicious. This hotel is very close to the Colosseum.

I stayed with my husband for 4 nights and we loved it! It was in a great area, very close to the colosseum (10 min walking max). We walked everywhere though and we found that it was great because it was tucked in a quiet neighborhood that wasn’t filled with tourists all day long. Silvia helped us and was very kind. Overall, loved staying here and the breakfast was the best I had in all of Italy! Did not have a better cappuccino the rest of our trip! 10/10
