"The worst checkin of my life. Very slow and when finally someone from the staff showed, another staff member showed up and both of them started arguing in Portuguese making it a very uncomfortable moment. I was offered literally “a sip” of espumante, then they gave a tour of the entire hotel showing me the amenities which took forever cause all you want to do is get to your room and chill. Good breakfast, decent food at the restaurant, small room, even smaller shower…for the price…I’m not coming...

"The breakfast menu is fresh, with many, many options. The staff at this Hotel is AMAZING, so helpful and kind. The location is away from downtown, which is exactly what I wanted, and is across the street from the riverfront. There is easy access to a Bus Line, and is close to the Crystal Palace Garden. The only disappointing feature was the cost of breakfast. I've had similar breakfasts at other hotels which was included for free. 18 Euros seemed very steep to me."

"Wunderschönes Hotel. Auch als Hostel buchbar. Wir hatten ein perfektes Appartmebt. Die Leute waren alle super nett und zuvorkommend ohne aufdringlich zu sein. Essen und Getränkeauswahl sehr gut. Mir wurde das Hotel empfohlen, das kann ich nur wärmstens weitergeben. Auch die Lage ist erstklassig. Alles gut zu Fuß erreichbar und trotzdem ruhige Straße. "

"Room condition was good. It was the best thing I can say. Spacious and nice for family. Right next door to lellu bookstore. Next hotel was near the river and it felt very central. It was raining like mad in Portugal so it was really hard when we arrived and had to carry two very large luggages up the stairs till 3rd floor. "We had a lovely stay at the Palacete Severo. Our room was comfortable. The property is unusual and charming. We loved spending time in the library and felt welcome to make ourselves at home. Breakfast was excellent. And the staff incredibly kind and accommodating."
