"Breakfast was excellent plenty of choice. We had issue with original room but staff eventually changed twin room to one I asked for ie king bed. Bedding clean but issue with room being cleaned (bed making,clean towels etc)

"What a fabulous hotel! We chose Peebles as it was about halfway back home to Wales for us, and after 9 days of hiking - a spa hotel sounded perfect!
The fact that such a swanky place is also dog friendly (and TRULY dog friendly) made it even better.
The staff were all cheerful, helpful and friendly.
My husband used the gym facilities and I treated myself to a massage, which was quite honestly one of the best massages I’ve ever had.

"For this being a 4-star hotel and for the price I paid, it left a lot to be desired. Faux leather furniture had extensive scuff marks. Black mold in the shower area. Found nail clippings on the bedside table. Yellow "gelatinous" gunk inside the mini fridge.
