"When looking online at the many hotels in Palm Springs, the photo of the charming blue and white chairs in the palm-accented breakfast area of the Holiday House hotel caught our eye. After reviewing the website and seeing that the hotel was downtown, we thought it looked like the perfect boutique hotel option. When we arrived, the Holiday House turned out to be even better than we imagined. The bright, bold blue and white-themed decor looks like it's straight out of a David Hockney...

"Breakfast and room service are impossible. Josh is their one A star employee. The rest of the week the host hung up on me and could not figure out the system to take my breakfast order. "

"Parking was fine. Local police were called 2 days in a row. The first time for an altercation which didn't affect me but they knocked on my door to ask if I knew anything going on. The next day because of a cracked out vagrant who was on property. They were jailed and left their personal items on the sidewalk. Other guests were questioning it and I was already going to the office to have it addressed and the front desk just basically dismissed it and said housekeeping would take care of it...

"The hot tub did not work. Once I got in, I turned on the jets and it worked for 2 min before completely shutting off. I tried to restart the breakers attached to the hot tub but nothing g would turn it back on. "

Some staff are nice but others were terrible and in-need of training. I was woken up at 3am to my smoke detector going off over my head. It’s located right above the headboard.
