"Wonderful stay at The Pine Cottage for our son’s wedding. The rooms were clean and comfortable and the breakfasts were delicious! We experienced a little mishap with some of our luggage due to torrential and unpredictable rain. Caroline was extremely helpful and accommodating and ensured that we were cared for. We all appreciated her calm and understanding demeanour and the situation was resolved quickly and appropriately. Thank you for making our stay one to remember!"

"We had a lakefront room with balcony. We enjoyed that aspect of our stay as well as the beachfront. Our room was very nice and comfortable bed. Restaurant had a great menu, delicious food and service was on spot. We would definitely stay here again!"

"Great Location, had all kinds of amenities if you could walk to it outside. Fire pit...We had to go buy fire starters, pool was in another building. For St. Ignace, overall, it is a fair deal. The Casino, has very low odds of winning, this is my experience of being there twice. St. Ignace is a pretty interesting small town, Mackinaw Island is expensive, covered in crowds, Bicycles and horse carts, but the businesses on this island have to make their income in less than 7 months. nightlife is...

"These are decent properties for a budget stay on Mackinac Island, but they are definitely in need of maintenance. From the front they look fine, but go out on the back deck/balcony and you start to see how properly maintaining and island property is rather difficult. As far as staff goes, if you can reach them on the phone, they're helpful. Otherwise we only interacted with the luggage porters and for a decent tip they delivered our luggage to our condo. The shuttle schedule was a bit odd...
