The only slight drawbacks were a strange weed-like smell which lingered in the corridor just outside my room during my stay, and my colleague who stayed two floors up was disturbed on both nights by the 'passionate' noise of the guests in the next room..! One of the reasons I booked this property instead of an Airbnb was the expectation of basic hotel amenities and comfort. Unfortunately, the hotel advertised having a bar and restaurant, but neither was actually available during my stay. This felt misleading from the start. The biggest issue, however, was the air conditioning. On the day I checked in, I was told the AC was not working throughout the hotel and...

"This isn't our first time here: We've consistently had problems getting our luggage to the front of the hotel – and the staff just shrugs. At these prices and with such poor service, you'd expect at least a bit more friendliness. And you have to pay an extra 25 pounds per day for room cleaning. Awful! Otherwise: good location, good room amenities, spacious rooms. But: Give your staff some training in friendliness!"

"For what I needed and location it was prefect for one night - the need was more about location than anything else. Room was clean and had everything that I needed. Bed small so lucky it was just one person as it wasn’t really big enough for two. Really really bad smell from bathroom - like rotten cabbage, think it was the shower drain."

"I had a quick overnight stay at this property where I checked in at 8pm and out at 8.30am the following day. The room was small, which was expected, but spotlessly clean and fresh. The shower was good and the air conditioning effective. I was disturbed on a number of occasions during the night with people talking and doors closing, but that's possibly because I was located so close to reception. I'd consider staying again if the price was right, but ask to be located further away from reception."

"I had a pleasant stay overall. The apartment was immaculately clean and offered plenty of space, which made it comfortable throughout. The photos didn’t match the property exactly, but the place itself was still nice. The staircase leading to the upstairs room was quite slim and a bit awkward to navigate, so something to be aware of. Communication could have been smoother, but in the end I felt the stay offered good value for money."

"Good sized rooms comfortable and a bonus the hot tub! Only downside they have extended the hot tub use to midnight from the previous 10.30pm cut off so I didn’t appreciate the room above me in the hot tub until 11.30pm it was noisy. Good quiet location."
