"This used to be a favorite hotel. The clientele is disgusting and cheap and weird. The bar once glamorous feels like a sleazy bad 80’s film without the cleanliness. My suite had construction and a non existent closet but it was large. It had a view of a parking lot. It was $4k a night. I moved to a full bungalow and those too were a bit badly in need of updates- ventilation and WiFi spotty. Cannot wait to see the upcoming refresh. "Great location for UCLA and nice breakfast. The valet parking is efficient but pricey. The are not a tip free property like some older reviewers suggest so have some bills ready."

"Awesome staff. Classy looking hotel in an excellent neighborhood. Everyone from doorman, to registration and restaurant staff are nice. We always felt very welcome. Room is great and clean. Only slight problem is for the Cabana room, the pool music is quite loud and runs until late at night. Still I would recommend this hotel any day."
