"If you’ve stayed in a Clayton hotel elsewhere you will have an expectation that the quality of the hotel and service should be at a high level. This hotel is very poorly kept, very unclean and the staff don’t really care too much for the customers coming through the door.
I found my room to be very dirty with many cobwebs all over the ceiling and in the corners of the room, the bath to have other peoples hair in the base of the bath, so clearly the standard of cleaning is poor. The rooms are also fairly dated.
Also, be careful not to stay here to only to attend events or local meetings nearby as on top of the fairly high price you pay for the poor quality of room, you also get charged £50 a night for parking at the hotel.
All in all poor quality for the money paid and well below the expectation of your standard Clayton Hotel quality and service. I would give this hotel a miss. "
