"Everything was fine. We booked the hotel because of the location and that it had an elevator. The elevator was very small and slow, but it fit 2 of us with our luggage. We were on the top floor. The elevator did not go to that floor. We had to walk the last flight. These things did not bother us at all. If you cannot walk, make sure to get a room on a lower floor. "The staff at Guest House Douro is amazing! Friendly and helpful, they went out of their way to help us enjoy our stay. We had a room overlooking the river which was very clean and comfortable but very small. Guests traveling with large luggage may want to ask about larger room options. Also, the hotel is off a pedestrian street which is not accessible to Uber drivers. Take a taxi if you don’t want to pull bags for a couple of blocks. Great stay! We wish we could have spent longer!"

Staff were very friendly and helpful, provided good overview of apartment and suggestions for eating at which restaurants! Loved our stay, highly recommend! Apartment was clean, completely with kitchen, and very spacious! Excellent sound proofing and comfortable beds!"
