"Wonderful family stay at Casa Azul Maya! We did have a ground floor room which was a bit more humid - but the AC kept it cool and it was fine for all of us. Beds were comfortable, staff helpful and room was cleaned everyday with fresh bath and beach towels as needed. The partnership with Loretta’s was perfect; amazing breakfasts, access to pool and ocean were picturesque. South side of the island is much calmer and slower pace -with great food, coffee and Punta Sur—- we’d come back in a heart...

"I stayed at this hotel in January too. It was better than this trip. It's not bad for the money, but they were having laundry issues. No hand towels, no wash clothes, 1 bath towel for 2 adults and sometimes no beach towels. The place was clean, but there was sand in the bed daily - They just made the bed, they didn't change the sheets. Location is good and staff is friendly. Over all, the experience was good for the money, but I will probably look at other arrangements on my next trip."

"We were in room 204 which smelt a little damp. The swimming pool area was clean, the kids enjoyed spending most of the day by the pool. The beach area is very small."

"I thought they promised more in their Expedia ad than was delivered: no airport pickup / round trip, no restaurant, bar. Poorly designed signage and I was in a taxi. The property was clean despite a couple of nights of storms. The room was clean and comfortable in spite of the high ass humidity."

"The property itself needed so much more maintenance. The room was definitely not as advertised . The shower head was so bad like the whole floor would get wet. The hot tub was dirty and throughout our whole stay not once did housekeeping went to the room. We had trash for days in the restroom. Mind u this was a 5 day stay so u can imagine how much trash there was . Definitely u get what u pay for but as for me we wont return unfortunately although i loved the area it was in."

"This hotel is wonderful. So cute and homey with a beautiful garden and great beach. The rooms are large and have good air conditioning. The hotel includes a hearty and tasty breakfast at Loretta’s Restaurant and Beach resort and access to their beach. Everyone is very friendly and welcoming. The beach has nice sand, good swimming area, snorkels and kayaks. The food there is excellent. We did not even go anywhere else during our 5 day stay!
