"The renovated property was nice, we didn't have much chance to take advantage of the amenities. Unfortunately the price I paid on Expedia didn't include an extra fee I was asked to agree to before check-in, so the price wasn't transparent. "Delightful, modernized adobe compound with only 7-8 comfortable and inviting suites. Breakfast was served at a communal table with glass drinking glasses, ceramic plates and mugs, and metal cutlery. The rooms also had glasses and ceramic mugs. Comfortable chairs and beds. I would have liked better lighting, but still better than most hotels. Good restaurants and shopping within walking distance. There was a thunderstorm one afternoon and it was so nice to stay in our room, cozy and comfortable....

It’s awkward following them on foot while they park your car, then they watch you while you select which bags you want brought up. "The front desk people were unfriendly and sat in their office while we waited in the lobby to check in. When asked about the area, they seemed annoyed that we were interrupting their siesta . The parking was a problem due to tree trimming and there was no elevator to get to our second floor room. Not worth the price."
