"Couldn’t have been more perfect. The service and attention to detail were impeccable. My room was spacious and thoughfully designed. The bed was very comfortable and I have to mention the sheets and towels smelled amazing. The breakfast has a lot of options, very well done. My stay here was pretty much perfect. The staff were friendly, attentive, and gave five star service. My only note here is that the Uber drivers dont come at the front of the hotel, the street is considered private and tables...

"Boutique hotel. Great location, great staff and services. No gym. Room is on a smaller size , but is very clean, quiet, and comfortable. Free walking tour of the city courtesy of the hotel is available. Breakfast is adequate. "

"Accidentally put me in nicer room, had to move to a room in front of elevator-lots of chatter outside my door. Sunday dinner was mediocre. The staff was wonderful. I am very impressed that the owners restored this fabulous building. It adds beauty and sophistication to a troubled party of town. Overall: conveniently located. "Sehr zentral. Der Eingang liegt quasi in einem Schuhgeschäft, dass war etwas seltsam. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Zimmer war sauber und sonst ok. Druckknopf für die Toilettenspühlung war nicht fest angebracht. Der Fensterrahmen hatte abblätterung und war aufgeschmiergelt und nicht neu gestrichen."

"Casa Balthazar was fantastic. We stayed in 6 apartments or hotels over a 2 1/2 week vacation and Casa Balthazar was the best. We tend to book higher end stays. Once you find this boutique hotel, you will walk into a lovely isolated place. The staff were so friendly and the rooms were great. Breakfast was so good - don’t skip the Pastel De Nata!! The hotel is an easy walk to the sites, restaurants and shopping. We would stay again when we come back!"
