"The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and everything worked as expected. All the staff were friendly and courteous. A very pleasant experience. Breakfast was better than expected although we couldn’t eat most of the hot foods. "We always enjoy our stay here. Imani, the front desk clerk, is such a delight to talk with. The mattresses are getting a little saggy, but the historic charm and comfort of the hotel is always on point. We appreciate being able to walk to restaurants and the convenient locations to drive to whatever we need. We were bummed the Swamp Fox closed an hour earlier than advertised, though. "

"Property was in good condition and looks to have been renovated not too long ago. Location is somewhat secluded but still close to downtown Wytheville. Also convenient to a couple of Interstate highways."
