Aranwa Sacred Valley

"The staff was mostly amazing. They were very accommodating with my early checking and always offering assistance. There was a snafu with someone being checked into my room after I had already checked in — which was disturbing to say the least. However the staff was quick to offer apologies and make up for the oversight. There were a LOT of gnats and mosquitos in my room so that was pretty frustrating especially at night when trying to sleep. But my only real complaint was the spa service. I was very much looking forward to a relaxing and rejuvenating spa experience. I booked a 2 hour experience that included thermals, scrub and massage. However there was no assurance once I changed out of my clothes and much of my time was wasted trying to hunt down someone to provide instruction. I was supposed to get 1 hr in the thermals and pools but 20 min in 3 different people came to tell me it was time to go to my massage. I had to keep insisting that I hadn’t had my hour yet and that was more of my time wasted trying to get them to understand that my appointment started at 6:30 so I couldn’t be be booked for a 7p massage. The receptionist then told me that my appointment was for only 1 hr20min but said I got 1 hr in the thermals (which I still hadn’t had yet) and 30 min for my massage (which doesn’t even add to 1hr20). She did later concede my appointment was 2 hrs but that I had to get out of that area at 7:30 but when I got out at 7:30 I waited til 7:40 to be taken for my scrub."

"We got a family room,,, very spacious, well maintenance and nice beds. The property is very well maintained. Staffs are friendly and helpful. The guy in the front desk speaks English well. Very satisfied with our stays."

"The service, the food, and concierge service is amazing. The property itself is beautiful. The staff is great. Bruno is an amazing host. They really take care of you and want you to have a great experience. I booked several activities with their concierge service after coming from Machu Picchu. They accommodated some last minute requests and I am so happy that I used their concierge service instead of looking elsewhere to explore the Sacred Valley. They have the best communication and I would definitely stay here again and recommend them as a place to stay for anyone wanting to explore the Sacred Valley."

"The hotel is amazing! New, clean, best bedding and mattresses, warm rooms, courtyard, restaurant on the site and the most important absolutely incredible staff. We were pumped there and felt like royalty. Grimaldi - the hotel manager organized us a private driver and transport to Cusco. The hotel has oxygen on a site. It was very convenient to stay in the middle of the valley and cover all premises"
