"The room was great, the staff was really helpful and friendly. The breakfast really good, they have plenty of options. There is only 1 person working at the spa so me and my wife had to schedule separate massages. Maybe it’s because of the day, me and my wife stayed on a Tuesday. If you don’t mind that tho, this place is great and really beautiful to walk around inside and outside the property."

"Very nice hotel and staff was excellent. We booked a Jr Suite with river view, which was plenty large for France, however the road below is extremely busy and very loud. There is also very limited privacy in the bathroom. Shower is wide open and the toilet area has smoked glass providing limited privacy. "

The room fit and fondue do not reflect the price - layouts are quite strange, ie. no sink on the same floor as the toilet and shower. And Bring your own mattress because the beds are exceptionally uncomfortable. Location would be the main reason to stay "

"I had a really great stay at Villa Maïa in Lyon. The hotel sits up on Fourvière Hill, so the views over the city are absolutely beautiful, especially in the morning and at sunset. The room was clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed without feeling over the top. What stood out most was the staff—they were friendly, helpful, and made everything feel easy without being pushy. "Aucune climatisation dans la chambre pendant les 4 nuits où j’y ai séjourné et il faisait trop chaud. La chambre était propre. Le personnel accueillant. Le déjeuner au restaurant pendant 3 jours était assez varié. Je n’y suis pas allé pour la 4 ième journée car je devais quitter l’hôtel à 6 h 15 et le resto était fermé à cause du congé férié. Le personnel m’avait préparé quelques denrée pour apporter. J’ai pu prendre un jus et un cafè avant de quitter. Ce fût apprécié. "

Rooms have AC and the front desk has someone at it at all times. Staff was great and recommended things to do and how to get to them like the cathedral at the top of the hill overlooking the city of Lyon. "
