"My spouse and I planned a weekend getaway to Pismo Beach and chose to stay at Beachcomber Inn. We booked from Friday to Sunday. Although check-in was scheduled for 4:00 PM, we received a call around 9:00 AM letting us know our room was ready and we could check in early at no extra cost. This was such a thoughtful and unexpected gesture. Due to work, we arrived around 6:00 PM and had the pleasure of meeting the owner, Johnny. He is incredibly friendly and welcoming. He personally showed us our room, which was spotless, comfortable, and fully equipped with everything we needed. The location is excellent—just a short walk from the center of Pismo Beach, yet very quiet and peaceful. We had a great night’s sleep. On Sunday, although check-out was at 12:00 PM, Johnny kindly offered us a late check-out until 6:00 PM at no extra charge. His hospitality truly made a difference. We felt genuinely valued as guests. I highly recommend Beachcomber Inn to anyone visiting Pismo Beach. We will definitely be back."

"The rooms are pretty run down, smell gross and definitely need some new carpet. The beds are awfully uncomfortable. Ice machine broken. We did love the pool but wish the jacuzzi was a bit warmer!"

Also provided plenty of coffee and sugars and creamers. Also provided soaps shampoos and conditioners blow dryers. Very nice accommodation. I will be staying there again."

"Beautiful location! Great views right from your room! Quick drive to the pier and wonderful restaurants! Beautiful grounds! Clean pool! My only suggestion is to get an upper room as the floors have no insulation and we could hear every step above us no matter how light or heavy!"

"Besides the close proximity to the beach there really wasn’t anything nice about this hotel. Very disappointed upon arrival to find out 2 of the beds were broken without any notification! Would’ve asked for a refund if we had known! The poor lady at the front desk was able to haul up 2 twin mattresses for us to lay in the living area. The ocean view was a slither of a corner as there was a building right in front to obstruct. The premium shower amenities were so tiny I had to go out and purchase my own shampoo. There was no screen on the back door, sink stopper was broken and the water flow from the shower head was a hit and miss. So 1 star for location and 1 star for maybe the size. Other than that I do not recommend this hotel."
