The food from the buffet was good. The only thing I didn’t like was the Dominican restaurant their bread was hard as a rock. I expected soft bread I could’ve broken my teeth biting that the food didn’t give it was made from a Dominican person. the service needs a little work but it was good staff was good. thank you for the experience!

Excelente, casi todo a la perfección, solo que no tiene playa privada, muy buen servicio de ida y regreso a la playa a 7-8 minutos del hotel cada 30 minutos, buena y variada comida bufet y restaurantes especializados, limpieza al 100 y todo el personal de maravilla especialmente los animadores, gracias y bendiciones!!!

The room was beyond my expectations! Very spacious, clean, the view to the pool and ocean it was worth capturing a picture every morning and night. The food selection was not so good. My best meal was at the excursion. It was authentic Dominican food! Entertainment was not the greatest. There was really nothing to do. Overall I rate 3-4. Would I return? Probably not. But I will say get your own experience.

The seating outside in lobby had mold on it. The staff didn’t seem to know any English at all. Cats, which I’m allergic to, allowed to sit and lay on furniture in public areas. Ceiling leaking in 1 room. We stayed only 1 nite because it was so bad and they only refunded a small portion back instead of refunding us for the nights we didn’t stay, which was March 14-18th. The WiFi barely worked and kept dropping so we couldn’t keep in contact with elderly family member. The lights went out in the property due to electrical issues. We were eating in the dark so if bugs or whatever was in our food, we wouldn’t have known because we couldn’t see in the dark. It was a horrible experience and to not be reimbursed properly made it that much worse. The hotel lied and said it was up to Expedia to determine the refund amount. This wasn’t true. The hotel didn’t want to reimburse us all of it because they wanted the free money.

I would not give this resorts a 4 star Room where clean but old Staff didn’t not speak much English Breakfast was very repetitive The drinks very water down The checking in is at 3 and even if the rooms are ready you can’t go in before People where waiting hours to get in to there room and by then was 4 pm Restaurant not a true restaurant they are all set up in a covered area a night and is a sitting area in the day No beach Pool where ok I will not recommend this resort to friends and family

The resort was great. Room was clean but decorative pillows on the bed could have been cleaner. Staff were helpful and friendly. Food at buffet and snack options were plentiful and always tasted good. Quite a few vegetarian options, never left feeling hungry. We had a negative experience at the Italian à la cart where we waited a long time and the server brought us our dessert before our dinner, then eventually after bringing the dinner never returned with dessert. We went to the buffet for dessert instead. The food that we did have at the à la carte was still pretty good. This was a rare experience of poor service and we didn’t let it affect our enjoyment. Drinks were good and we had no problem with the bar rack alcohol quality. New welcome cocktail served at every meal. Coffee was good. Trail next to the resort that leads to Bayahibe is fun, free shuttle bus to Dominicus beach was great. Pools at the resort were lovely too. Crabs at the wall of the sea around sunset were lovely. A decent amount of entertainment with the resort becoming quieter around 11pm felt just right. This might not be your typical *spring breakers* resort and for us that was great. All in all we felt good about our stay here and may someday return.

Shower head did not work told front desk did nothing. Men’s bathrooms smelled dirty door not off for two days thrn put one that didn’t fit right coffee stains up the stairs they clean once a day . Told all inclusive them get there charge for towels for pool and beach .alcohol was bottom tier junk . When ask to buy better packages said no but a bottle full price like back home shots and bottle beer us prices high food disgusting very small entertainment. My wife was getting a massage a guy came up twice to the booth talking to the lady while my was laying there top less . If you want to buy top tier you have to go to front desk pay then go back to the bar every time. No one speaks good English Al all !!!! The sushi restaurant no good and it’s American prices . The other 2 restaurants horrible 80 percent of the people eat with us went to the buffet to eat because how bad and little amount of foods ask for manager multiple times never got one till I lost it with th watching my wife get a massage ! The only good thing about the place is the pools and the view. And don’t put food down in your room bugs on it in seconds . Also they go threw your stuff I put tape on top of the closet doors where are stuff was when can back in the room it was off both sides

Not like it was described. Shower was cold, no evening activities, buffet food was dry and unseasoned, not able to check in early or check out late.

Very nice pools! Very good food! Staff wonderful! Large Morning coffee table would've been nice centrally located! The entertainment music was repetitive and would've liked to have seen more of a variety of different types of music for dancing. Their fire show was excellent! And I thought it was nice that they had exercising in one of the pools every day. And a nice weight room.

My husband and I just returned home from our stay at HM Alma De Bayahibe and I can't say enough great things about this property. For starters, it is absolutely beautiful. The large salt-water infinity pools overlooking the Caribbean sea make sunsets an absolute dream. The food at the buffet was always very tasty, although at times some of the dishes could have been warmer. The 2 included a la carte restaurants (Alma - Dominican; & Anima - Italian) were fantastic!. We also dined at Tamashi which is the Japanese/Sushi restaurant that is not included in the all-inclusive plan, and our meal was not only delicious but relatively inexpensive. The rooms were clean & modern. The staff throughout the resort were extremely friendly and accommodating. We did have an issue with our room where one of the wall panels fell down, however when we reported it to the staff, instead of just opting to fix it, they upgraded our room complete with a complimentary fruit platter & bottle of champagne, and also provided us with massages for each of us! The entertainment staff was a lot of fun and had us dancing every afternoon & again in the evening. If you're looking for a party spot, this is probably not the resort for you, as everything ends at 11pm - however it was perfect for us. Definitely a great place to go if you're looking to relax! We will definitely be returning!
