"Anda Lanta was quiet and peaceful. The resort is off the beaten path, about 30-40 minutes south of Saladan Pier. The resort is situated on a beach, which makes beach access convenient. The views are great and the Pearl Restaurant was very good! Lastly, the staff were extremely helpful. Our ferry from Koh Lanta to Phuket was cancelled through the night. We asked the reception, and they called the ferry service, confirmed the cancellation and refund, then scheduled us a private van from the resort...

"Friendly, almost family like atmosphere. There was (needed) renovations going on during our stay, but that didn’t matter too much. We found breakfast a bit average and inconsistent but not for lack of trying and friendliness. "Il faut être en forme, avoir de bons genoux car il y a une multitude de marches à monter/descendre. La photo de la piscine ne représente pas la réalité; on y voit l’océan certes mais on y voit également le stationnement et les poubelles dans l’autre sens. La chambre à première vue est bien, propre. "Réservé par Expédia, l'hôtel n'avait pas été informé et la chambre n'était plus disponible L'hôtel nous a trouvé une autre chambre, mais sans climatisation. De plus l'accès par un chemin de terre en pente est difficile. Le lendemain nous avons déménagé chez Isara Lanta, de l'autre côté de la route, à deux pas de la plage : Les bungalows sont basiques, mais l'emplacement et l'accueil de Marc compensent largement !"

"We had a fantastic time! They were wonderfully eco-conscious which is very important to us. The staff was friendly and super helpful.     This is a lovely beach to relax and swim at. Kantiang beach is definitely one of the cleanest beaches that we have seen in Thailand. We were fortunate enough to see why the beach was so clean. The local workers from the Pimalai Resort and Spa spent sometime from work cleaning up the beach. I wish other locals and hotels would do the same to help the pollution issues that the beaches and seas are facing here in Thailand as well as around the world. It also looked like a great team building experience. You can find this beach on the way to the Southern most point of Ko Lanta.
