"We stayed at Hotel Canal Grande for 4 nights. The front desk staff was kind and accommodating. We arrived at 1 am in the morning and wanted to have a cocktail after a long day of travel. Even though the bar closed at 11 pm, the front desk clerk was kind enough to open the bar for us for as long as we wanted. We had a junior suite and found it to be spacious compared to many rooms of this category in Europe. Relied on the front desk staff for many needs including advice on navigation, meals, etc. The staff was gracious during every encounter. The hotel location is as close to the action as you can get without being in the noise and crowds. 5 minute walk to the main drag (Rio Terra Lista di Spagna). Highly recommend and will stay there again"

"It is a great boutique hotel next to Campo di Fiori. The staff is excellent - all of them - and we thoroughly enjoyed every minute in Rome. We would definitely stay there the next time we visit Rome. "

"Great location! It was away from the chaos of Venice but we loved it! We walked everywhere and really got a good feel for the city. Georgio in the bar was an amazing person! Gave us so many good tips and taught us all about the different Campari drinks! Also, Clement the night front desk host was a pleasure to speak with! He taught us so much about the Venetian history and Italy in general. Very pleasant stay"

"The location is, in my opinion: Perfect! Walking from the train station is about 15 minutes with luggage. There is 2 small bridges to get over. The Jewish Ghetto is a fantastic area. Great food for any meal is within 5 minutes. There is a police outpost right outside the door and the canal it sits on is trafficked, but not too busy. We stayed in the family suite with canal view and I could have stared out the windows all day. The bed was great, the bathroom was awesome and the staff was exceptional. "
