"The Venart is a special place among many special places in Venice. An old Palace directly on the Grand Canal in the San Polo neighborhood -- the quiet side of Venice. The concierge team is outstanding and the public spaces of the hotel are grand. Given the 2-start GLAM restaurant size limitations, food options at the hotel are quite limited. This can be a problem if you don't feel like heading out for dinner -- or even breakfast. Otherwise, it's a lovely place."

"Really enjoyed this hotel. Great location, 10 min walk to station and bus station. Lots of shops and food places around two great pizza places within 2 min walk. A very cheap supermarket in the alley next door. Room spacious and clean, hot water, great view to canal. Fridge and safe and bottle of bubbly in room. Staff friendly and helpful, map given on arrival. 20 min walk to main square. TV had several english movie channels which was a bonus and great WiFi. Would definitely return. Area is...
