As we approached the hotel after walking a short distance from the San Marcuola vaporetto stop, we were pleasantly impressed at how well the outside was maintained with its enclosed courtyard. "Nice big Clean Room, was an issue getting in the front door to access our room to start with, after two long flights and a stressful journey was not expected! Then the next day the card to get into property again would not work, Thank God for Whats App and quick communication, this was quickly sorted! "Arrived at property and check in went smoothly. Staff was responsive. Room was warm and messaged staff about air. Got response on how to turn it on yet there was no remote for split system so they told us to turn on the fan. My issue is they knew there was no remote and air wasn’t working bc they put a fan in the room. We opened the windows for circulation but there is a bar underneath the room and people were loud and smoking until 2-3 am. Very disappointed in air issue. If you are staying now...

"Superb position on a canal with lots of local restaurants and bars. We had a wonderful room overlooking the canal. The staff were all truly excellent taking care of every aspect of the trip. It was a joy to stay at the hotel and we hope to return soon."

"Location was great - 12 minute walk to the train station. Their breakfast is a normal European breakfast - light. The room had AC without a locked temperature which was great because we could put it to as cold as we wanted. Issue: There was sooo many fruit flies in our room. Only slightly disappointed when trying to book the boat trip to Murano, were told they could only facilitate if enough people wanted to go that day due to the cost being too expensive.
