Monteverde Lodge by Böëna

"It is nice hotel with a good well laid out restaurant with good views and decent breakfast. Good sized parking lot, walking distance about 1km from downtown Sta Elena. The rooms we had were nice and clean, bed was comfortable with just screen doors with glass doors open and we slept nice and cool with sounds of the cloud forest. we highly recommend this hotel."

"We had a magical stay - make sure you leave time to do the on-site tours and hikes. We saw as much in property (morning, afternoon, and evening tours) as we did in official parks. We joked that our balcony view was the best wide screen tv. I would come back to the area, just for this hotel."

"Really cannot say enough about this bed and breakfast. We were there for only one night but wish we would have stayed here a few days. The staff were very friendly and helpful, great with our kids. The room was very nice with lots of space for everyone. The mattresses so comfortable. Breakfast was great. Will be coming back here in the future for more days."

"The property is stunning! It’s very private from hustle bustle down the hill so it’s quiet and you feel like you’re IN the rainforest. I saw a howler monkey from my patio! The property is very clean and staff were all very helpful and friendly. Yoga was so nice- outside and covered from rain shower but also up in the trees. Breakfast is great- tons to select with homemade letter eggs and lots of fruit etc. Pool and hot tub were great after all day activities."

"This was a fabuluous resort, even better than expected. The hot springs were clean and accessible. It was breathtakingly beautiful. There were nature walks on site with birds, frogs and turtles. The restaurant was good. The breakfast had alot of variety for all tastes and was plentiful. I highly recceomend this stay!"
