"As a solo female traveller, I was scared to enter the hotel since the lights in the entrance are off, and will only turn on once you actually enter. The front desk is located on the floor above, so there is no one there. The room was poorly laid out, with barely any space to rest personal belongings. The curtains were filthy and stained, and there were flies all over the room. I checked out a night early because I felt uncomfortable staying any longer. Definitely was not a 4-star hotel...

"We were issued one key card for 4 travelers, then the room required that a key card be inserted into a slot in order to keep the room powered on. The result was that we came back from dinner to a hot and humid room that tooks hours to cool back down. Great stay otherwise, but that one factor was enough to make it a fairly miserable evening. Hope the savings to BW+ was worth it."

"The hotel and the property were gorgeous. It was a beautiful respite from the crowds of Venice. Concierge was very helpful. Unfortunately, the air conditioner in the room didn’t work during our hot, two night stay. The lights flickered on and off frequently. The maintenance staff tried to fix the air conditioner after the first night with no success. The thermostat beeped incessantly all night after the attempted repair."

"We had a spectacular stay at Palazzo Veneziano. From the moment we arrived, the service was excellent. They kindly upgraded my daughter and me to a junior suite, which was spacious, beautifully designed, and made our vacation feel truly special. A major highlight was the complimentary excursion they offered us to Murano to watch the master glass blowers at work—it was fascinating and seamlessly arranged. "Great pool, good breakfast selection, lovely grand building right on the beach. Shuttle boat into central Venice is very convenient. Drinks in the hotel are extortionate EUR 19.50 for 2 Cokes. There is a Gelateria almost opposite the hotel, that has salads, pizza, pasta, sandwiches, drinks and delicious ice creams at very reasonable prices."

"Great location. They gave excellent instructions as to utilizing the vaporretto from the train station. It was a short walk to the Hotel Ala where we checked in. It was another short walk to the actual very modern room at RF. From there we had easy to Saint Mark’s Square, shops all over the place and easy access to water taxis. "Fantastic location, nice outdoor lounge area, modern option amongst many dates looking hotels, restaurant staff a little inexperienced but lovely and put in effort to help their customers. Shower pressure wasn’t working well but for short two night stay we coped. Reception desk unmanned both times I was there."

"The Kette Hotel was wonderful - great location very close to St Mark’s Square. The room and bathroom was very nice and very clean. The entire hotel is very well maintained and nice. The staff was very helpful and nice. Overall a great hotel to stay while in Venice. I would definitely stay there again the next time I go to Venice."

"We pick a room with the view of the canal. Opening the windows to see the canal was a relaxing experience, specially in the morning when is only the neighbors walking the dogs and the streets are empty. There is a convenient restaurant in front with a romantic view for a dining in the quiet Canal. There is partner hotel 2 doors from the Arlecchino , and having the option of an American breakfast with eggs in the morning was great after traveling days and missing some eggs at breakfast..
