"Sao Miguel is small enough that you can choose one accommodation centrally located and drive the whole island. Verde Mar and Spa offers ocean views overlooking a beautiful surf beach. Included breakfast is great and in house dining is convenient after a day of touring the island. Ribeira Grande is quaint without the urban cluster of P. Delgado. The 20 minute drive to the north side of the island is certainly worth it."
