"This hotel is budget friendly, we got two rooms last Feb25-26, rooms are clean and spacious, they got service phones but direct to front desk only. Toiletries are provided, AC's working fine, it's cold when you get into the room. If you're a light sleeper, request for a room that is far from street side, we requested for the rooms to be on second floor that time since they don't have a lift and we have senior citizen with us and heavy luggage. "The Sugarland Hotel is not a new place but my husband and I enjoyed staying there very much. The rooms and hotel itself have been maintained well and are very clean. "Pros - it is strategically located in downtown and in the market area with restaurants , taxi , jeepney etc. Rooms are big size with good housekeeping. Cons - Aircons and televisions are vintage old now and need to be replaced. LED tvs are there everywhere now. Aircons.arent performing well. Some hangers in cupboards , provision of glasses and ice for drinks sold by the Pension House are suggested. "
