However, the owners might want to upgrade the levalor blinds to higher-quality ones, preferably with blackout options like those found in most hotels. Additionally, you are not insulated from the crashing noises of other guests and service staff crashing around outside your room. The elevators felt a bit slow, and we weren't particularly impressed with the hotel food. Luckily, there are many tasty options nearby. "

"We brought our 11 year old daughter to NYC to see Aladdin. The LUMA was about a block away and I had read all the great reviews so I booked it. If you're on the fence, just book it and here is why ... They are about a half a block from Bryant Park, and a few blocks from Times Square right in the heart of Broadway. Just close enough to all the fun stuff but not STUCK in the middle of it. The nice thing is they are on a street not as busy so the noise is reduced. I had read lots of reviews...

"Overall a great stay and would stay again. Breakfast and restaurant team was excellent. The rate included breakfast, lots of choice and high quality. Had an issue with housekeeping on the first day as room wasn’t cleaned until the clean me sign was left on the door. The room had everything we needed and was very comfortable. Perfect midtown location close to subway. Great rooftop bar with skyline views."

"Amenities were definitely mediocre and not up to par compared to the price of the hotel room. The breakfast restaurant on the main floor had rude waiters and the breakfast was definitely overpriced and not worth it. The bed was the best part."
