"Better than I expected"

"Breakfast minimal parking ok food and gas close also highway near by close to Louisville Kentucky "

"The hotel is recently updated and clean. Beds and pillows were comfortable. Breakfast was included. Very convenient to surrounding towns, including Louisville about 15 to 20 minutes away. Seems like a great budget hotel!"

"The nightstands on either side of the King bed were pretty awful. Quite small, too small to rest glasses, a book and a phone. Top of nightstands much too high above bed (about 12"), so person in bed needs to reach far up and sharp corners of stands could injure a person that falls against them. Nightstand lamps too dim for application, and too high up, can't reach switch from bed. Awkward clothes hanger rack and ironing station stuck back in corner of room behind large chair, would be hard to access without moving furniture."

"The staff was friendly and helpful. There was live entertainment in the evenings and a continental breakfast. The experience was so enjoyable we booked a room for the fall to come back and see the area again."

"I’ve stayed here a few times over the years, so it’s not really that bad, the pool is never usable, the breakfast is a joke, the rooms are worn and the bathroom is especially worn out. Why do I stay there? Price, convenience and the staff. The place is right off the highway, quiet and safe feeling, the price is the best I could find for Kentucky Derby week, and the staff is friendly and helpful. I’ve paid a lot more for hotels that were far worse, it isn’t the Hilton, but the television works, there are plenty of restaurants and shops nearby, and the place is clean and bug-free."
