"The Village Inn was the perfect place for a stopover while travelling further south. Ideally located a short distance from Northallerton. Large car park, restaurant with a really good menu choice and very reasonably priced. The room was extremely clean and comfortable with heating you can control yourself. Powerful shower and very hot water. Breakfast was great, with choices of full English, Vegan, cereals etc.
I would highly recommend the Village Inn to everybody looking for somewhere to stay...

"Once I got my head past the idea that ‘this is not a Marriott’ I came to realize this is a great hotel.
Room was comfortable. I was able to park right outside the hotel front door every night. Breakfast was good. The bar area is well presented with a good mix of locals and tourists to talk to.
Room attended to daily.
The local town is very pleasant. Some great coffee shops and pubs."

"Beautiful setting, Staff friendly and very helpful. Room was charming. Plenty of parking.
We had underfloor heating and found the room too hot through the night and bed a little to hard for me. If looking for hairdryer ours was positioned behind the curtain and unable to find it when I needed it."
