The room was clean, it was so close to the boardwalk and the kids loved watching the rides from the balcony! Breakfast is also included which is a huge win for my early risers. We can’t wait to come back!"

"We found this hotel right on the beach in Santa Cruz to be ideal for a seaside night. The rooms are artfully decorated in a classic California beach theme and they are scrupulously maintained and cleaned. The amenities are excellent and beds comfortable. The pool is small but the chairs can face the ocean and, of course, the beach is just down a stair. The adjacent Jack O’Neill restaurant down the first floor corridor was very good with great evening views. Beach volleyball etc was available for...

"Very clean. Small for the price but location is everything. It’s just the right amount of loud during the day and surprisingly quiet as soon as the boardwalk closes. Everything we needed we had and the parking was great!"

"Really awesome hotel with complimentary happy hour and beautiful amenities. Our room smelled musty, however, and when I reported it, nothing was done about it. Some of the staff also seemed unfriendly. I could also hear them talking about how they needed a day off."

"We had a very enjoyable stay overall and would definitely consider visiting again. The property was clean, comfortable, and offered plenty of space for our family. The staff was friendly and welcoming throughout our stay, and the location was excellent—close to several beautiful beaches and convenient to local attractions. There were a few drawbacks. "The breakfast was delicious and healthy! They offer a lot of extras like wine and cheese, bikes and beach supplies. The rooms were comfortable and smelled fresh. I only wish there was a chair in my room. Otherwise still a 5-star experience! Fantastic location to getting to a popular beach as well."

"Not what was expected. Location was 2 renovated homes and a little difficult to find. Bedding and bathroom were neat and clean but rug seemed dirty and the fabric on chair had a large stain. We had to call staff to announce our arrival and check out the next morning only required a signature on rooms list."
