"We found the apartment’s lighting was too dark because of dark color of walls and not enough of lighting fixtures. Besides the fixtures are spot lights type so that certain areas were not covered. No headboard lights. The room is quite decent and very clean. Ample space for two people. Location is quite good, closes to the freeway leading to downtown Reykjavik."

"I stayed at Hotel Vogar twice during my Iceland trip, once on arrival and again before flying home, mainly because of its convenient location near KEF Airport. My first stay was good overall. We received the bed configuration we had booked, the bed was comfortable, and although the room was missing an electric kettle, reception quickly provided one. The only downside was the shared microwave area, which was quite dirty. Unfortunately, my second stay was disappointing. I booked the same room...

"we enjoyed the stay the full kitchen served the purpose of my family with kids so we can cook some hot meals and yes the hot tub and sauna was cherry on the cake it helped us relax after a tiring hiking day"

"We stayed for one night only. It was close to the main attractions. The biggest issue we had was not being able to get in due to our code not working. We called and it got resolved. There were stains on the couch but aside from that just okay"

"The property and rooms were clean, the only problem is the bathroom door on our floor would not lock so we had to use the one upstairs. So it was a little bit of competition for the bathroom. The breakfast that was included was very nice and the only place on our 10-day stay in Iceland that provided a free breakfast so that was much appreciated. The location was great, right next to the big church, walking distance to many restaurants and shops and great views of the city."

"Great place to stay on a budget. It is rather small , but has all thats necessary for budget travellers as a place to stay in an expensive part of the world . It is not luxurious , not roomy , but comefortable and clean and offers a lovely breakfast in the morning. The staff are friendly , it has a bar , but to my knowledge no parking , but we didn't have a car , so I don't know about that"
