We arrived in late afternoon but could not eat dinner in the main dining room as they have set meal times and we would have had to have waited 2 hours for a table. "This is our most memorable stay in Japan. We had an exceptional room with private rooftop onsen and incredible views. The staff and management were especially helpful and more importantly they were sincere. Their recommendations were fantastic. Manazuru is a lovely, manageable, not over saturated town with limited tourist influence and it might be hard to find a better place to stay than this one. It can be viewed as expensive but in Japan you pay for what you get and the value was fantastic. We stayed 3 night and would happily return. Thank you to this hotel and the staff. Superb."
