"This is a truly unique hotel, transformed from an old house and surrounded by various shops that add to the street’s historic charm. We stayed on the ground floor and had a wonderful experience—a spacious bedroom facing a small, traditional courtyard, with convenient hotel facilities nearby. One staff member spoke excellent English, and even the Japanese-speaking staff were very helpful, assisting us by calling our next hotel in Kaga Onsen to arrange a pick-up bus. "I stayed at the hotel after a trip to shirakawago village. There is a shuttle service from the bus station to the hotel. Dinner was amazing. I didn’t expect to be served 5 courses french cuisine in a small town like this. A few bugs problem, but it was understandable since the location of the hotel near the forest. Overall it was an excellent stay. "

"Our room was amazing. We loved having our private onsen, and took every opportunity to use it to relax and rejuvenate our bodies.
