The meals were exquisitely, artfully arranged - every vessel perfectly chosen and beautifully styled. I got to try lots of new things and found it absolutely charming. Nice and quiet location, too. "口コミが大変遅くなりましたm(_ _)m 高齢の両親と弟と私の４人で、２泊お世話になりました。何十年ぶり？？かの久々の家族旅行でした。 館内は清掃が行き届いていており、温泉もとてもいいお湯でした。お料理も、牛肉が苦手な母に合わせて、別の料理を出していただき、大変助かりました。どのお料理も、とても美味しかったです。 ずっとお礼が言いたくて、すっかり遅くなってしまったのですが…。 夕食の時にテーブルについていただいた、私たちと同じ九州出身のホテルの方が、とても素敵な方でした。２日後に弟の誕生日を控えていて、「お誕生日おめでとう！」と乾杯していた様子を見て、お誕生日のプレゼントと、【Happy Birth Day】のチョコのプレートをデザートに乗せて持ってきていただきました。思いがけない心遣いに、とてもあったかい気持ちになりました。 本当に、とても楽しい思い出になりました。まだまだ、観光しきれなかった場所もありますので、また滋賀県に遊びに行きます。その際は、また、そちらに宿泊したいと思います。大変お世話になりました。ありがとうございました！"

"It's a peaceful hotel surrounded by gorgeous mountains. It provides a traditional Japanese experience. I'd recommend it to anyone visiting Japan. It has an onsen, so no private bathroom (toilets are also public). You sleep on a futon that you set up yourself. The staff provides dinner and breakfast and they play an instrumental Studio Ghibli soundtrack in the background while you dine to add to the peaceful atmosphere (everyone gets the same meal, you don't order it). "全てにおいて満足でした。ただ一つだけ残念な事に部屋の露天風呂、浴槽のお湯がずっと漏れてました。満点の夜空に静けさを味わいたいのにずっとチョロチョロと水漏れの音が聞こえお湯がどんどん減っていく...本当に残念でした。"

Wir haben mitbekommen, dass das Personal auch zu anderen Gästen sehr unfreundlich war und hat nur nach mehrmaligen Nachfragen unsere Wünsche versucht halbwegs nachzukommen. Am Abreisetag wurden sehr schroff aufgefordert unser Zimmer sofort zu verlassen obwohl ein Late Check out ausgemacht war. "I stayed there with my family. Whole facility was very clean and the traditional japanese room was very new. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The best perk was the large public bath with multiple indoor and outdoor hot tubs and a sauna. Location was in a quiet neighborhood, but still very central and only one stop from Kyoto Station. We travel a lot and this was one of the best stays we ever had. Can definitely recommend staying there and if we ever visit Kyoto again, we will stay there...

"It was probably best choice I made as really close to Nara park with all deer that can be polite but scary at same time. Worth the experience. I want say the traditional style was amazing be prepared as all stairs . Amenities like private bath traditional style ice machine on fist floor and massage chairs. And when you check out want explore can leave luggage in massage chair room until ready go next destination. I high recommend and come back."
