HOTEL MYSTAYS Fuji Onsen Resort
10/10 Excellent
"Hotel was really nice, very clean and spacious. They provided pyjamas, toothbrushes and other free amenities that you can collect at the reception area which was top quality. Only thing missing was Mt Fuji which was not visible for the two days we stayed which would have been an incredible view from our window. You can either walk from Kawaguchiko Station for 20mins or take the local bus which is a 5 minute ride to Asakasa which leaves you directly infront of the hotel. Would definitely recommend!"

HOSHINOYA Fuji
10/10 Excellent
"I really enjoyed my stay with Hoshino Resorts. The facilities were well maintained, and the staff were incredibly kind and attentive. Whenever I needed assistance, they responded quickly and were very helpful, which made the whole stay feel relaxing and comfortable."

Fuji View Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"By far one of our favourite stays during our Japan trip. The view of Fuji is unparalleled and the hotel also has panoramic viewing facilities on the top floor with comfortable sofas to settle and contemplate. The rooms are so spacious and comfortable, and if you happen to get a garden view instead of a fuji mountain view, you will NOT be disappointed - the mountains and lake make for a gorgeous backdrop. The hotel is secluded and yet the town is a quick walk away, so your stay can be varied in activity. The breakfast buffet is EXCELLENT! The hotel may feel a bit dated to some, but it is in great condition and well cared for. Very very clean. You will not be disappointed if you stay here. Extremely good value for money. Oh and don’t forget to buy some fish food and feed the kois in the pond"

HaoSTAY
6/10 Okay
"I was really excited to stay here, mainly because of the amazing view of Mount Fuji, and it absolutely delivered. The rooftop view was incredible and definitely one of the highlights of our stay. Especially since it was a clear sunny day, not a cloud to be seen! The room itself was okay. The television was quite small, though we didn’t really watch it anyway, and we understood that rooms in Japan can be a bit smaller. The experience of sleeping on the traditional tatami is very neat. The only disappointing part was the complimentary breakfast experience. Guests could choose between a traditional Japanese breakfast, an egg salad sandwich, or another sandwich option. Our whole family had loved the egg salad sandwiches throughout Japan, so we selected those. Unfortunately, there was a mix-up and we were served the traditional breakfast instead. When we asked if it could be changed, we were told it was too late. To be fair the traditional breakfast was quite good. It seemed more like a communication breakdown than anything else. Overall, it was still a nice place to rest and enjoy the beautiful Mount Fuji views. Also, make sure to eat at Oden nearby, great food!"

Kawaguchiko Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"Lovely old fashioned Japanese Hotel. It is in a beautiful location overlooking the lake with Mount Fuji off to the side. Breakfast is worth it do note it is Japanese breakfast - we loved it. Rooms are large for Japan & have everything you need. My Husband enjoyed the onsen which has lovely views and area to sit & relax afterwards. Would definitely stay here again if we ever return to Kawaguichiko. Thanks to all the wonderful staff. We used shuttle for return to station but as we arrived early we got a taxi to Hotel which cost 800yen for 3 of us"

"Our Premium Suite was amazing! Very spacious. The dinners were incredible!"

Fujisan Onsen Hotel Kaneyamaen
10/10 Excellent
"We were lucky enough to book one of the few rooms with a onsen bath and a view of Mount Fuji and experience the traditional Japanese futon sleeping arrangements. The evening meal was up there with the best we've experienced anywhere in our own private dining room The drum show was unique to watch and was in awe of their timing. The gardens around the hotel were beautiful and peaceful. Dor dinner we dressed in traditional Japanese clothing provided in our room, you could also go the the Kimono boutique and wear one of those too. It was an incredible experience, time to relax after a hustling Tokyo and before heading to Kyoto. I'd highly recommend"
