"Very nice area and clean rooms."

"Parking was easy and it felt secure. The breakfast was tasty wonderful and many options! The staff was very nice and the facility was clean! We were disappointed to find out at check in that the pool was closed due to pieces of the ceiling that had fallen into the pool and they were waiting on a repair. I wish we would have known that ahead of time."

"The staff that checked us in was amazing, very friendly & recommended a place to eat. Unfortunately the power went out in the middle of the night but didn't really affect us. The staff member that checked us out wasn't able to print me a receipt due to the internet being down & was going to email me a receipt which never happened. Over all I was happy with the stay & would stay again."

"Room was dingy, deck clerk ran 5 charges on our card so far we have gotten 2 removed and have 3 pending. TV and internet were on/off every 5-10 minutes. Very unwelcome type room. Room was not what we requested. Finally spoke with owner who assured us we would get a complete refund and we traveled back home 3 hours. Very bad experience."

"First room they gave me had a terrible, strong odor. I was told that an individual had been in the room all week with do not disturb sign. Why would they then give the room to another guest without taking care of the problem? Second room was worn…with cracked bathroom sink. Housekeeping failed to tidy the room - I had to change out my own towels. Very disappointing experience for the price point."

"The drive up to the property is difficult to locate at night and challenging in winter and can be tricky getting out quickly onto the main road as there is no traffic light. During daylight and normal weather, it would be fine. Parking lot is well lit. Rooms are spacious, clean, and beds are comfy. Typical hotel continental breakfast offerings. I felt safe traveling alone."

"My friend slipped and fell in our room because they had shampooed our carpet just that day and didn’t tell the night desk clerk. We didn’t realize that’s what made her fall till we took our shoes off and had soaked socks from walking on the carpet. Went and reported the fall and the wet carpet to the desk clerk who said she had no idea they had been shampooed. She apologized asked if my friend was ok and said she would report the issue and incident to her GM for the morning. No offer to switch...

"The walls are very thin and you easily hear the people next door"

"Small family-owned B&B, and owner takes the time to get to know you. Rooms are old-fashioned but comfy if you like a no-nonsense stay without bells and whistles. Homemade breakfast is provided in the morning but the portions are pretty small. Pretty easy walk to restaurants and businesses in the downtown area. "
