"Arrived to find out Hot tub not working - one of main reasons for choosing this hotel; staff did comp my parking for the 5 day stay as compensation. 1 of 2 elevators not working (one day both down, had to use freight elevator) Bathroom sink water pressure was barely more than a dribble, seriously! Black bits coming out of bathtub faucet every time; looked like course ground pepper. Hotel looks like it may be updating (hopefully), but not currently worth the $500 CAD/night average cost. Location worked for this stay, but will likely choose differently next time."

"We came in at 3:05pm and clerk said room was not ready. He called housekeeping and she said we have to wait 15 minutes as. We did not get the keys until 3:25 pm . I reserved a handicapped room snd the clerk tried to say we did not have that but I had the printed the reservation which said accessible room on it. I paid more for that room and due to mobility issues I needed that room. We asked for a manager they said “no manager on duty” clerk on evening shift was giggling and unprofessional! Hotel is across the street from a noisy Costco which makes noise very early in morning around 4 am. No restaurant in hotel and breakfast buffet average. Next day manager Said that they have late check out to guests at 2 pm. They knew they had booked the room but they did not get it ready in time for 3 pm checkout. Refused any compensation and I had to complain to Travelocity when I got home! Don’t stay here! Go somewhere else!!!"

"i paid for my sons stayfor one night on his way home to the UK. because i paid with my credit card he was asked to pay $250 damage deposit, what did you think he was going to do, have wild parties and wreck the place. no breakfast at the resteraunt ??? next door just crossient and mussoli, he could get bacon egg sausage if he paid$5.00 for each item, disgusting. the pool was good the airport shuttle was good. i would never stay at the sandman hotels and i will tell my friends not to stay there. no stars for you"
